Overthrow Hospitality Group

In 2020 amidst the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we partnered with prolific East Village restaurant and nightlife proprietor Ravi DeRossi to bring his various restaurant-bar concepts under the umbrella of the new plant-based, mission-driven Overthrow Hospitality Group. After developing visual mood boards, branding guidelines, and consulting on art direction, we designed and built a network of SEO-optimized, interlinked websites to manage each of the group’s 8 venues. During this time, many of the restaurant saw increases in organic web traffic and Google Search traffic by over 300%.

On the public relations front, we also executed the press launches for the openings of key Overthrow Hospitality venues including vegan Filipino eatery Saramsam, vegan soul food restaurant Cadence, cocktail retail store General Store, and the cocktail tasting menu speakeasy Reserve — helping drive media placements in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Refinery29, Eater, Vice and more.
