In 2019, District One worked with then newly-launched pioneering Vietnamese coffee roaster Nguyen Coffee Supply to create the brand’s written identity, secure launch press placements, and curate meaningful brand partnerships. In one year, the brand and its founder were featured in dozens of features, profiles, and roundups in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Vice, Fortune, Saveur, New York Magazine, and many more.

In 2020, we expanded our service beyond brand positioning and media relations to build a robust revenue-driving Shopify platform and set up the brand’s first advertising channels on Google and Facebook. With a proven mix of strategic paid media and scrappy, data-driven SEO strategies, we grew the company’s revenue over seven-fold compared to the previous 6 months. Leveraging the pandemic-era online coffee boom, we also boosted the company’s search ranking for high user-intent key terms like “Vietnamese coffee” and “phin filter,” helping to further solidify the brand’s permanence in the space long term.
