    Dan Q. DaoFounder + Director

    Dan is an award-winning culture & travel writer whose work has appeared in Food & WineForbes, Vice, Condé Nast Traveler, Paper, and many more. Prior to founding District One, Dan served as Digital Commercial Editor at Time Out New York and Deputy Digital Editor at Saveur. He has over ten years of direct hospitality experience as a barista, bartender, and media consultant. 

     

    Nicky Corpuz, Strategy Director

    Nicky is a thought leader in digital marketing with broad experience spanning bioengineering, finance, business, and technical architecture. Prior to District One, he held roles at Accenture and Google. Nicky has founded several companies, apps, and products to help make the world a better place.

     

    Carter Williams, Creative Director

    Carter has managed the written and visual identities for a wide variety of CPG and hospitality brands from both agency and in-house perspectives. He is the former Art Director at Thursday Boot Co., and also boasts years of experience working for top creative agencies, including Chandelier Creative.

      

    Tavo Dam, PR Director

    Tavo is a media strategist focused on food & beverage brands, having spent years at Baltz & Co working with clients such as Ample Hills Creamery, Pig Beach, Williams Sonoma and many more. He has vast experience with media relations, influencer management, and partnership facilitation and is a WSET Level 2 certified sommelier.

     

    Jacqueline Marino, PR Strategist

     Jacqueline is a recent college graduate from the University of Miami. She has worked at several public relations agencies with numerous clients in hospitality and lifestyle. Having spent 4 years in the communications realm, her background ranges from social media photography and design to broadcast.

     

    Nick Lemieux, Paid Social Strategist

    Nick is a recent graduate of NYU with a double major in Media, Culture & Communication and Spanish. He has experience working in marketing and social media in house, as well as on the agency side doing PR. He works across District One's Paid Social and Public Relations teams.
